For Earth's planetary defense, NASA tracks and studies near-Earth objects such as fireballs and bolides. NASA uses telescopes around the world through sponsored projects and along with their Infrared Telescope Facility in Hawaii that houses a Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer space telescope.
